Upcoming Workshop Series on
Pollution Reduction and Air Quality Improvement Strategies
Hosted by NCTCOG

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) would like to invite local governments, special districts, nonprofits, and universities to a series of hybrid meetings to identify strategies and projects to improve air quality, enhance sustainability and promote equity in the North Texas region. Each meeting will focus on a different sector and will feature breakout sessions facilitated by NCTCOG staff. The strategies and projects identified will be incorporated into a plan developed for the Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) Planning Grants. The inclusion of projects in the CPRG plan is required for the region to compete for the $4.6 billion in funding available from the CPRG Implementation Grants. The strategies and projects discussed during this meeting will also be included in the Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) and other relevant plans developed by the NCTCOG.

The Energy Sector meeting on September 18th is sponsored by the City of Dallas and the Regional Integration of Sustainability Efforts (RISE) Coalition, in an effort to promote energy efficiency and resilience in North Texas.

  • Transportation Sector - Monday, August 14, 2023, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
