This half-day event is the second in a series of workshops sponsored by the City of Dallas and the Regional Integration of Sustainability Efforts (RISE) Coalition. Additional support provided by the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO).

North Central Texas Council of Governments invites you to attend a free, in-person workshop for large-scale solar development, policy and planning on May 5th, 2023 from 9am-1:30 pm. This half-day workshop is designed to provide fact-based information to empower public officials, staff, and leaders to make informed decisions about solar policy and development in their communities.

The workshop will feature four learning modules, opportunities for attendees to discuss and learn from one another, and hear lessons-learned from other Texas localities.

Attendance at the workshop qualifies for 2 AICP CM credits. In addition, lunch will be included for those that register in advance.

• Community Planning for Large-Scale Solar
• Improving Large-Scale Solar Land Use Decisions
