This training is for city staff members who are responsible for code enforcement activities. Fire Marshals, Fire Chiefs, Arson Investigators, and other fire officials are also strongly encouraged to attend.

Planned topics will include: 2023 Code changes from 2020, Photovoltaic modules, Inverters, Battery storage, Electric vehicles as power sources (vehicle-to-grid), and Common Code violations.

Two identical sessions will be held on November 1 and 2 to accommodate staff schedules.  You need attend only one. If you already attended one of the October trainings (Oct. 10 and 11), you do not need to attend again.

Each class is limited to 27 attendees.  Sessions fill up fast, so early registration is encouraged.  If space is available, registrants will receive an invoice.  Pay ONLY if you receive an invoice.  One payment for multiple registrants from the same municipality or organization is acceptable.

If your desired session is full, you may apply for the other session if your schedule allows. If both sessions are full, a waitlist will be created and additional training sessions may be scheduled.  If that occurs, registrants on the waitlist will be contacted and given an opportunity to register for that additional session.

A fillable PDF Registration Form is available for download here. Please read the first page of the PDF, then follow the instructions on the second page to register. Each attendee should fill out page 2, save the file with their name in the filename, and return the completed registration per the instructions in the PDF.

Additional information about the training is available online here. For specific questions regarding this training or to submit your registration form, please contact Dan Lepinski, P.E. at 817-884-6081 or Dan@ntree.org.
