The Draft 2023 deliverable was prepared by NCTCOG under the guidance of the Water Resources Council, which consists of representatives from the North Central Texas region’s joint treatment works and their customers, representatives from non-profit organizations, and other water quality experts. The Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) then incorporates the annual North Central Texas WQMP into its statewide water quality planning efforts.

At its next meeting on July 12, 2023, the Water Resources Council will discuss the Draft 2023 WQMP and public comments received, and then consider recommending it for adoption by NCTCOG's Executive Board. NCTCOG's Executive Board is scheduled to review the Draft 2023 WQMP at its meeting on August 24, 2023. Pending adoption by NCTCOG's Executive Board, the Final 2023 Update to the North Central Texas WQMP will be submitted to TCEQ.

This deliverable was prepared in cooperation with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
