What: 2025 Substandard Structure Investigations class for Municipal Police and Code Officers; Elected Officials; Board Members; County Officers; Prosecutors; Health Departments; Firefighters; and others needing an understanding of ways to deal with substandard structures

TIDRC classes are particularly useful for city and county staff having overall environmental enforcement responsibilities as well as local code enforcement officers and registered sanitarians; local peace officers; local health department officers and Local Health Authorities; specialized environmental enforcement officers; fire marshals and firefighters; prosecutors; as well as other city and county staff and elected officials needing a good understanding of the approaches available assure a clean and pollutant-free community.
Planned topics will include: Policy and practice needed for successful Enforcement context, identifying substandard structures using your ordinance, Statutory Authority for Substandard Structure Abatement, Lis Pendens Lien, using the 27-Step Abatement Process, properties with no owners, case preparation and presentation to BSC, abating a mobile/manufactured home and report writing!
