On behalf of the DFW Solar Tour, NCTCOG and Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities would like to invite you to attend the 13th annual solar tour on Saturday, October 1st. The DFW Solar Tour is a free event, during which you are invited to learn about innovative green homes and buildings around the DFW Metroplex and learn how homeowners and businesses can use solar energy, wind energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies . Several sites include electric vehicle (EV) charging systems as well, highlighting how solar and EVs can work together!
The tour locations, listed here, can be visited in-person at the provided times on Saturday, October 1st. More information about the tour, participants, and ways to get involved can be found on dfwsolartour.org.
The DFW Solar Tour is organized by the non-profit North Texas Renewable Energy Group (NTREG) (www.ntreg.org) in cooperation with the Texas Solar Energy Society (TXSES) (www.txses.org) and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) (www.ases.org) National Solar Tour.
