Sessions include discussions of energy policies & the future, air quality, Texas energy leadership, and more.

SECO Opens Professional Engineering Services RFP
The State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 238L invites proposals from qualified, independent firms to provide professional energy engineering services to SECO's administration to the State Energy Program: Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Fund Program. Respondents should specialize in conducting ASHRAE Level II Audits and should have extensive knowledge and working experience with conducting and analyzing energy saving reports. Respondents should be able to identify energy retrofitting projects compliant with federal guidelines set forth through Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Build America, Buy America (BABA), and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) provisions.
$10.9 Million Available for New Technology Implementation Projects
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has announced $10.9 million in grants through the New Technology Implementation Grants (NTIG) program. This program supports projects that reduce emissions from facilities and stationary sources by reimbursing up to 50% of project costs. The three project types eligible for reimbursement are New Technologies to Reduce Emissions from Stationary Sources; New Technologies for Oil and Gas Projects; and Electricity Storage Projects. Interested individuals, state and local governments, corporations, or any other legal entity are encouraged to put together a proposal and apply by 5:00 pm CT, January 7, 2025.
