This Weatherization Workshop will focus on the
importance of home weatherization and how communities can best support their residents in pursuing home weatherization measures. The process of weatherizing a home increases energy efficiency, lowers utility bills, and improves human health and safety. This may involve sealing air leaks and drafts, installing insulation, replacing outdated HVAC systems, etc. There are a number of federal, state, and local programs to assist homeowners in financing these retrofits, and municipalities can create their own weatherization awareness and assistance programs.
