Now Available: PACE Adoption in North Central Texas Story Map
NCTCOG has been working to identify communities who have adopted Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing programs within the region. To showcase this research, the Regional Energy Management team has developed a story map, which displays PACE jurisdictions and highlights projects supported through PACE financing. The story map also includes frequently asked questions regarding how the program works and simple steps to get started.
PACE is a low-risk financing mechanism that allows property owners to make energy and water-efficient upgrades to commercial, industrial, and select residential properties. PACE exists in over 30 states and has been operating in Texas since 2013.
